That moment when...
For anyone who's watched any anime you surely have experienced this. Everything is going well, you're enjoying the show then...

You're thrown for a loop, stuff starts getting bad out of nowhere. A character you like dies, or the people you were rooting for just get absolutely stomped on and it just makes you angry. Well normally after that something good and awesome happens and makes up for all of it. Well not this time! The show I'm watching just pulled a double on me. Crap started going down and it started to get real bad. Then hero mode went into play and I got excited. Things are finally starting to get back to normal so I can enjoy the show again, "but wait there's more" FUUUUUUU

S**t went downhill again immediately afterwards and I'm not exactly sure how they are gonna recover from this one. It almost makes me want to take a break from the show... Gah! Gene sick

Well feel free to share your experiences or just vent it all out XD

Dragonball GT.

Das Ende.

"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

Because the author had decided that nobody will be cool besides the Seiyas...well Goku to be exactly.

Yeah, I also like Piccolo. To be more clear, I like multiple useful characters. The show slowly made all fighters useless except for the top Seiyas.

RE: That moment when...
I know what you mean. Worst of all when you spend ages watching a show with a pervert as the protagonist who spends the whole series trying to "get the girl", and not only do they not get past first base, but they end up more distanced from each other than near the beginning of the series! And it's the protagonist's fault, even though the girl is (at the end of the series) crazy about him. I felt so conned after a series like that. (I won't name the series as that's a huge spoiler.)

Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
Jim: "How do you know?"
Gene: "I don't!"
Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

RE: That moment when...
What turns me off sometimes is too much love for the one main character.
I'd rather to have some very powerful secondary characters, sometimes it is more fun to have those powerful secondary characters to actually do something useful and to take care of issues in the place of the main character.

DBZ for example, I like Goku, but why it has to be done with all the other characters never be able to take care of things. Vegeta, Piccolo, etc. should have their share of days. Nope, they can never beat a real main villain.

In Ranma, Ryoga and Moose could never beat Ranma in 1 on 1...

In Saint Seiya, Seiya always get the point, even he is just a lowly Bronze Saint who supposedly can't touch any of the Gold Saint, but the Gold Saints never get the chance to face the real villains...sure they were put against and destroy the soldiers of the real villain leader, but it's always Seiya gets to put against the bad guy leader. I got excited when Virgo Gold Saint Shakka was about to attack Hades...but BAM... Athena stopped him by tell him not to...how disappointing.

RE: That moment when...
I agree with Ram. One thing that put me off DBZ towards the end was the complete lack of strong supporting characters. There are no surprises left by the time of the Buu Saga. We know instinctively that Goku will be the one to defeat the villain, and they try to play it off like "everyone" killed him, because he used the Spirit Bomb. The other guys, like Vegeta and Piccolo do get involved, but usually only to make time for Goku, or save Goku, or something else pertaining this man named Goku, that I grow less and interested in. F**k that. When Tien turned up, I legitimately got excited, only to have my hopes crushed when he was defeated with a single kick. I could go on and on about how all anyone cared about was Super Saiyans, but even then, it still didn't mean much at all, since now even the weakest of characters can master the transformation, including Goten and Trunks.
