CCTV shows girl falling through pavement in China

Caught on video.
A teenage girl fell into an underground cavern in northern China. The teenager was walking by a road in the city of Xi'an when she suddenly vanished through the pavement and had to be rescued.

From the look of it, the sidewalk might still be under reconstruction. Watch where you step on, or you'll never know where you might ended in.

Gotta give respect to the taxi driver, running over and letting her out first and all, or, just like if the cable wasn't there, if he wasn't there she mightn't have gotten noticed.

If that happened over here it'd probably be the best day of that persons life, the claim they would get would be insane xD But over there she'll probably get a letter of apology and told to go on her way!

Yeah, the worse thing could have happened is nobody noticing her fall. Not that it is possible she'd be down there forever, but she would be down there for quite a while...screaming, until someone pass by can hear her. Lucky her was seen by the taxi driver the moment she fell.

OMG that poor girl. That's just scary the pavement is one thing that you take for granted as being safe. What a lovely guy that cabbie is.

I saw that on yahoo when it happened I think. What a scary thing to happen! You just sort of assume that everything beneath your feet is solid and several feet thick. I can't imagine having that happen to me!
