Anyone else liked this anime called .Hack Sign?

It is based on the video game series.

Basically it is about a MMORPG (Massive Multiplay Online Role Play Game) went wrong. Example of MMORPG - World of Warcraft, Lineage 2, SilkRoad Online, etc.

In the show, the MMORPG went wrong, a player's mind was trapped on the game server with no way to log out. At first, nobody believed him, and thought he was a cheater using hacks to play outside of the game rule.

As an anime lover who also liked MMORPG, I thought the show was great. Especially the thought of virtual reality game in the future can indeed go wrong lol.

Was one of my favorite shows to watch on the late night block for adult swim. Back then I just sort of watched it to fall asleep to since it came on late in the night/early morning but later on down the road I picked it up and watched the whole thing through. It was an awesome concept but the show could be slow at some points. Overall though I rather enjoyed it. My favorite characters were Mimiru and Sora

Yeah. You'd like it more if you like video games too, especially RPG or MMORPG.
Sora made me wanted to level up and level up in my games haha. While you can tell from the start his player is immature, he is too powerful and quite cool on cutting down everyone. Just the way I like to be in MMORPG.

The most appealing part is definitely the concept of being trapped in a virtual reality game. Once again, extra appealing to those who like MMORPG.

Although you can tell from the start that Sora is played by an immature kid, but his character was tough, he definitely had motivated me to level up, level up, level up... haha!

If I remember correctly, I was playing Neverwinter Nights (1) at the time. I tried to create a cool and awesome character that nobody can beat. It didn't work that way. When you have so many people playing, you will at most have many equal, and will never be able to win in an outnumbered battle against equal level players of top builds.
